A Voice of New Life: Day Two of Filming MADE FOR FREEDOM
On April 27, the MADE FOR FREEDOM film crew recorded an interview with Kristina — a featured heroine who openly shared her story of moving to the U.S., fighting for her freedom, and trying to save her family.
Her journey is a story of the courage to be herself in the face of fear, of the determination to protect her loved ones, and of starting over in a foreign country. In her voice, there is both the pain of loss and the strength of hope.
Kristina’s interview became a powerful part of the film, revealing not only a personal struggle but also the universal experience of LGBTQ+ migration — when the choice between authenticity and safety becomes a matter of survival.
